How do you go low and stand your ground at the same time? It takes surrender. It takes knowing Jesus very well and using the discernment given to you. It takes staying out of your flesh desires and staying in the desires of the Lord. Wanting God’s heart above all. Seeking Him. Seeking His ways.
Psalms 105:4 says, Seek the Lord in His strength. Seek His face evermore.
He has called us to do hard things. Standing your ground isn’t always easy, but He will give you the strength to do what He has called you to do. Going low in prayer. Worship. Repentance. It is all about how you surrender to God. Humility
Matthew 23:12 says, and whoever exalts himself will be humbled and he who humbles himself will be exalted.
Is He the one that makes the calls or do you? Let Him in. Let Him be the one guiding you and leading you when you have to stand up and do hard things. It is truth. I love truth. I despise nonsense. It really just agitates me more than anything else. We also have to know the timing of the Lord. We have to know, is this my flesh or is this the Holy Spirit that is asking me to say or do something?
Ephesians 6:13 says, Therefore, take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
We have all the keys we need right at Jesus’ feet. Today, if you are having trouble standing your ground, I ask the Holy Spirit to give you wisdom and strength to believe.
